  1. I wouldn't go 4" anywhere outside of far NW Mass. That said, being pretty far west you may do a bit better than areas further east even if they're further north (ORH, e.g.). I think the vast majority in SNE are going to be reporting no more than a coating to something barely measurable. We'll see. Maybe things will trend better today.
  2. Maybe for Brian....not so much for SNE. Wow---I came down to 23* here.
  3. Rarely am I looking forward to going to the dentist (especially since I"m still using one in Greenfield). But my trip tomorrow should be an interesting one with the changing conditions on route 122 and route 2. BOX is as underwhelming for my hood as the models: < 1" on Tuesday; less than <.5" Tuesday night.
  4. You know it's early in the season when everyone's riveted to see if the models are going to show us 0" versus 1 or 2.
  5. Well we've got a battle between a 60+ hour NAM against the Euro.
  6. Defintely not getting it done. SNE will need more than these small increments in order to get much of anything. Of course, the models could all suck. There's always that.
  7. Please don't tell me you shovel while it's still snowing.....
  8. Mine are getting done as I type (yes, I outsourced). I have a couple oaks that still have a lot of leaves and two crazy maples that still have leaves on them.....most bizarre thing.
  9. Not enough for most in SNE to hide the leaves that haven't been cleared.
  10. Agreed. The one thing that's comforting is (don't curse it now) is that there's been a steady creep on this. I'd prefer that than things than windshield wiper shifts.
  11. The battle of the NAM versus RGEM at 60z. A true clash of the titans.
  12. The small ticks are encouraging.....but until we see something more substantive and consistent amongst other models, I'm with Dave in the 'colder rain' camp. Hopefully the next couple runs might show the substance and consistency we all crave. Needless to say, nice little event for CNE/NNE.
  13. I need to do the Rt. 122/2 drive from ORH to/from Greenfield midday Tuesday. Might be a little slick on the return trip.
  14. Very fake news. https://mesowest.utah.edu/cgi-bin/droman/meso_base_dyn.cgi?stn=KORH&time=GMT
  15. ORH was 16 (15.8), same as mi casa. But comparison is still valid.
  16. Appears we bottom out at 16*. In the words of the great Adam Sandler, "not too shabby".
  17. 17 so far here in Worcester. I guess this falls into the C and D category.
  18. Don't think the 18z GFS is offering much in the way of a lifeline. 28*
  19. Nice to be in the 20's at 4:00p.m. November of yore.
  20. Vermont doing it's best to add to global warming and to establish an urban heat island.
  21. I feel for those who were anxiously tackling their leaves before last night's snow. And Tuesday's snow.
  22. I was half-joking a couple days ago when I said there was plenty of time for this to be one for YUL. It's not there yet, but little hope for almost all of us.
