  1. Good catch--I switched from an RGEM map. Fixed.
  2. Welcome to the board and to your first NE winter. The ocean will always have an impact. Sometimes for the better, more often for the worse, but there's no denying it plays a big role. For early season systems, the water's relativley warm compared to what you'll have now into March so it can sometimes do more damage.
  3. Then there's the ICON.....off on it's own.
  4. Sounds like Ray's 'biased' map from several days back.
  5. I'm seriously considering getting a hotel at the airport for tomorrow night rather than a Tuesday morning drive from ORH to Logan (11:00a.m. flight). I'll see what the EC shows before making that call.
  6. Based on what we've seen so far, a lot of folks are going to go from an advisory to a warning shortly.
  7. Yeah--2" of qpf ftw. This is a worry?
  8. Congrats, Pete (though that could be a broken record).
  9. I--like my wife--am much more confident in round 1 than a round 2.
  10. Ugly for me and many. I’m focused on round 1 here. Maybe it’s from old habits from when I was in GC.
  11. Hopefully the RGEM can continue the Canadian goods.
  12. Pretty much total for SNE. Work the ratios as you will.
  13. Here's the 3K through the overnight. Way different than the 06z run. Take it for what it's worth.
  14. Pretty generous round 1 for above the CT/MA border.
  15. Well, 30 minutes until unitl the first chapter of the final model read. Get excited.
  16. I believe 8" is the threshold on that. End of the day, I don't give a crap about that. It's the totals that count. What's bizarre is that they're forecasting warning amounts. As an aside, looks like flights out of BOS won't be an issue on Tuesday late morning. Driving to Logan on the other hands.....
  17. Does anyone else think this looks a little like Recaptha letters? Apparently BOX isn't either. The current GFS (and let's ignore the 06 NAM) and I think ICON runs show snow totals that warrant their current advisories pretty well for a 24" hour event totals. On the other hand, they have Worcester getting 8-12 on their most likely map, yet have it as an advisory. Perhaps that's just due to ORH being located in the southern Worcester zone. Either way--give me a Euro solution with a side of RGEM, please. EDIT: I just realized they dropped the watch for here and have put up a WWA with 8-13" of snow. lol. 18. I much prefer my 12k and RGEM clowns to my GFS clown.
