  1. I believe 8" is the threshold on that. End of the day, I don't give a crap about that. It's the totals that count. What's bizarre is that they're forecasting warning amounts. As an aside, looks like flights out of BOS won't be an issue on Tuesday late morning. Driving to Logan on the other hands.....
  2. Does anyone else think this looks a little like Recaptha letters? Apparently BOX isn't either. The current GFS (and let's ignore the 06 NAM) and I think ICON runs show snow totals that warrant their current advisories pretty well for a 24" hour event totals. On the other hand, they have Worcester getting 8-12 on their most likely map, yet have it as an advisory. Perhaps that's just due to ORH being located in the southern Worcester zone. Either way--give me a Euro solution with a side of RGEM, please. EDIT: I just realized they dropped the watch for here and have put up a WWA with 8-13" of snow. lol. 3. I much prefer my 12k and RGEM clowns to my GFS clown.
  4. Wow, wow, wow. Can we freeze that one (no pun intended)?
  5. Wow--that RGEM is beautiful. Thumpity dumpity.
  6. Thanks, Will--do you have one that shows just round 1 (more or less)?
  7. Yeah...they looked a little different. lol
  8. Take anything that drops 14-18" right to the bank. Clown map aside, the qpf map was really impressive. Big question is what portion of this is tainted to 4:1 ratios. When does the RGEM come out?
  9. Storms over by then....unles you want to see a couple more inches in Newfoundland.
  10. I fly out of Logan at 11:00am. on Tuesday. I hope my arriving plane in isn't delayed.
  11. sorry for the dumb question.....when will the rgem be out? My bed is calling (I know....totally wimpy).
  12. Yeah--it's really been incredibly long lead-up. Maybe being the first system of the season is impacting my impression of it.
  13. Nice look for the eastern folks there. Hopefully this can fire up a little closer in to help central areas along with CT.
  14. The Pope must have overeaten on Thanksgiving. I don't recall seeing any posts from him the last few days.
  15. So which one is best for ORH? I want that one.
  16. That would be awesome. Hopefully some round 2 magic can happen region-wide, but based on the posts here it seems it's more east and north at this point
  17. I'm surprised (actually hadn't been looking earlier) to see that 8" down on the south shore. That's way different than their NWS forecast.
