  1. Ch 6 not thinking more than 3-6". Thought it was going to be a stronger sys then tomorrow I haven't been up there in a couple months. My wife was there over the weekend and said it was still snow-covered. So at least there's that going ito perhaps a couple mundane events. That would at least provide some cover to aid with any follow-up cold.
  2. I'm still planning to be at Pit2 for this, but even there GYX is calling for taint.
  3. Not sure what the models are showing, but along the mid coast, GYX is calling for 2-4" as of this morning.
  4. Thread started? Oh no---we're doomed!!
  5. I know we're not at the long-awaited pattern change, but this series of misses (if this does in fact cut) is a real downer.
  6. LOL--like the protest. GYX has introduced sn/rn for Sunday. We bide our time.
  7. Do you wean "warming' or "warning"? Either way, hopefully the Maine coast will avoid much taint.
  8. You and Tip can snuggle together in the backseat as the sun warms things up through the windshield.
  9. Here’s the state of my “pack”.
  10. I recall a really good pattern setting up last year, too.........
  11. "I wonder what happens if I push this button......."
  12. Agreed. And even within that described area there’s often a gradient—sometimes significant—at play.
  13. Agreed. It wouldn’t be the first time we’ve had a broad model failure this season. Just saying.
  14. It’s 3 days before the event. A little early to be talking if schooled. My 2 cents.
  15. Frankly, I don't give a rat's ass what model does well for Thursday. It's bupkis for SNE in any case, and that's what matters. :
  16. I haven't been too focused on GYX's forecasts since I moved from there 12 years ago. But even back then, they were really conservative on forecasts. I'd be looking enviously at BOX forecasts (and the accompanying SNE-centricity of most posters here) with envy. And then in the end, we'd get crushed. At least that's my recollection.
  17. You mean this first one from the weekend event or the second of the entire week?
  18. Coastal Maine crusher. I like 12th-period forecasts that include a 90% chance of snow. Saturday Night Snow. Low around 18. Chance of precipitation is 90%
  19. Have dropped 30* from today's high. Now 34*.
  20. While far from cold, it’s nice to be back in the 30’s (39).
  21. That's total accumulation through 162, not from the weekend. Or maybe I'm misreading it.
  22. Wow you roasted...."only" got to 64* on the accurite. Down to 49* now.
  23. Looks like ORH guested to 52-53 today. Pretty decent. 51* now.
