  1. What is the best radar setting to use on Weathertap to see the sleet-line?
  2. Calling it a night.....hopefully Will will be posting radar loops tomorrow of the sleet hitting a wall as it approaches the pike. With some of the things we're seeing tonight, I'm not sure they'll be a lot of stalling of that northward march. Good luck everyone.
  3. Jerry--what are you using to get your skews? TT isn't working for me for some reason.
  4. Get your measurements before the sleet compresses it all.
  5. there might be a smidge more beyond this. Pretty juicy.
  6. Yikes. Should have stayed in GC. I'm hoping my 10 miles north of the pike falls into Will's north-of-the-pike range. I'm prepped for a lot of pinging.
  7. Well. A quick read of the last couple pages in my car makes me think I’m getting a ping fest. Oh well. At least it’s not rain.
  8. And the new BOX map. Congrats, Chris and Dave.
  9. 10. And your 10:1 clown. Factoring ncp, Region-wide advisory .
  11. Here's the 3k--a bit toned down from the crazy 12k.
  12. I don't think anyone was worried about ZR in northern Mass. Just a matter of how far north and for how long the pinging was up here. The jury's still out on how much contamination will take place along and north of the pike. And that's all I care about.
  13. Looks about right. 4-6 for many with a lolli for Pete.
  14. What is the bearing of this for tomorrow? TIA.
  15. Tell me about it. With each melt, I thought perhaps the city could come and get my leaves. Alas, we end up with 2-day windows of opportunity and then covered again. Keep 'em buried til spring I say. As an aside--I just posted a neat/scary/close-call video of yesterday's wind in the obs thread.
  16. If only the 2'+ the GFS had for this weekend were still in the cards
