  1. It’s 3 days before the event. A little early to be talking if schooled. My 2 cents.
  2. Frankly, I don't give a rat's ass what model does well for Thursday. It's bupkis for SNE in any case, and that's what matters. :
  3. I haven't been too focused on GYX's forecasts since I moved from there 12 years ago. But even back then, they were really conservative on forecasts. I'd be looking enviously at BOX forecasts (and the accompanying SNE-centricity of most posters here) with envy. And then in the end, we'd get crushed. At least that's my recollection.
  4. You mean this first one from the weekend event or the second of the entire week?
  5. Coastal Maine crusher. I like 12th-period forecasts that include a 90% chance of snow. Saturday Night Snow. Low around 18. Chance of precipitation is 90%
  6. Have dropped 30* from today's high. Now 34*.
  7. While far from cold, it’s nice to be back in the 30’s (39).
  8. That's total accumulation through 162, not from the weekend. Or maybe I'm misreading it.
  9. Wow you roasted...."only" got to 64* on the accurite. Down to 49* now.
  10. Looks like ORH guested to 52-53 today. Pretty decent. 51* now.
  11. Down to 56 here in Worcester. Eager to get back to something a little less obscene.
  12. Driving on 290 around Northborough, my car war reading 71. Down to 62* now at the Pit.
  13. It's a little tucky.....looking forward to SE trend.
  14. Looks good. My wife and I were just talking about heading up next weekend.
  15. We need more PQI postings. Keep them coming. We love to hear what man-cold is really like. Seriously. 64* here at the Pit. I confess that in spite of all the hatred of the winter intermission, this doesn't suck.
  16. Down to 36* at Pit2; 60* at Pit1. I miss Maine.
  17. 61* at mi casa at 5:30. Next weekends looks like a front-ender at this point. The EC's tracking the low across CT/RI into Maine. That's not going to cut it (no pun intended). Regardless, it looks like the current warmth will be but a memory in a couple weeks. Brrrrr.......
  18. No better excuse for going to Pit2. LOL at the big rainer washing it away on the 24th.
  19. Just where Eastern SNE/CNE/NNE want it a week out
  20. It's way too soon to call it a snower. I'm going with a rn/sn mix at best for SNE at this point. We're still dealing with left-over crap, and we know these pattern changes tend to be slower than modeled at this range. On another note, I noticed the lengthening afternoons for the first time yesterday. About two more weeks until Tip's first 'warm in the car' post.
  21. Some chilly times for CNE and especially NNE once we get through this hell.
