Reads like GYX will be hoisting advisories.
Advisory type snows are expected with this system with an area of 3-
5 inches of snow over northern and eastern portions of our forecast
area. Would go slightly higher in some areas however the track of
the H8 and H7 low to our north is not favorable at this time.
Man the overnights really shit the bed on the events kicking off the new year. Oh well, at least we have our cold and have managed a few inches in December.
In the top is the Jan 29/30 2022 blizzard.
the bottom one was from Valentine’s Day 2017. I think this was after the 3rd storm in like 10 days. IIRC we were in store for another 10” that night. I think we had like 50” in 7-10 days. Epic.
The picture was Pit1 in Shelburne. Pit1 is now in westborough (though my wife wants to move to the Cape).
Pit2 is up in Bath, ME. I'm up there every chance I get, and I can't wait to retire/semi-retire and get up there full time.
