  1. Since they're both likely wrong, let's consider option C.
  2. We were in the 20's from the get-go. Pure powder. Mitch/Pete/me ftw in that one. Meh. The true Messenger shuffles would begin 6 hours before start time and intensify with every SREF run and upstream observation from then out. Death by a thousand cuts.
  3. The pattern change begins on 5/15 and will be complete when Tip finishes typing his post.
  4. True. Though marginal in May and marginal in January are two very different breeds of of marginal.
  5. https://www.foxnews.com/us/northeast-arctic-blast-snow-mothers-day-weekend-southwest-record-heat-weather
  6. No sense in discussing it really....
  7. Righteous. Per SPC sounding climo, the values forecast for Saturday and lower/colder than anything experienced here in May in 70 years. This will bear watching. Precipitable water values are mostly at or below 0.5 inches, which is mostly below normal values so no major rain is expected.
  8. There were quite a few clouds here. Clouds/sun until about 1:30, then to almost full sun now. Just a little ballsy given the last month.
  9. I wore shorts/fleece when I took the dog for a walk late-morning while it was still in the 50's so I knew the day would be nice. I took out the deck furniture later in the day. By the time I grabbed a book to relax out there, some clouds/coolness had set it which must have tainted my memory. Bring on today.
  10. An added 5* would have put it in the running. :
  11. First COC of the season today. Soak it in before the return to BN.
  12. 1.05" at ORH since yesterday. Bleh.
  13. Having worked from home most of my professional life (including the new job I just started--yay, me!), my life has not changed at all. M--F are the same and weekends are still what I crave and find at EOD on Fridays. I take that back....having my wife working from home and daughter home from school makes things different. But aside from that, life is life!
  14. I"m pretty sure we had snow coming down at 5:00--or at least a mix. 37* and rain now.
