  1. That's less than 20 miles from Pit 2. I want you to know that.
  2. Maybe something can play out tonight. Had some distant T/L last evening with some rn-. Somehow managed to lose power. Based on conditions, may well not have been storm related. But I'll pretend it was. At least I won't worry about watering the lawn.
  3. True--but it's more fun within the context of Kevin's post. My wife and daughter will be thrilled to have a new Hallmark movie.
  4. yeah--feels great out there relative to the last couple nights.
  5. In the immortal words of Bob Seeger......way of firm and high.
  6. The recognition of shorter days hit me last night and this morning. The accumulation of the imperceptible daily shifts have hit the tipping point. We've lost 28 minutes of daylight so far. I celebrate this in the summer. In late January, I bemoan the lengthening of them. Oddly, as I typed this, I thought that sounded like a Tip post. To complete that theme, I'd have to say something liike "heh--in a few more weeks we'll find the magnitude of the solar radiance isn't heating the inside of my car as much".
  7. It looks like the accurite at mi casa hit 92. Surprised that's all--I always get the sense it runs warm when the sun hits it.
  8. How boring a weather season is summer? Exhibit A: this thread title.
  9. It'll be an unwelcome change when I return to ORH from the forecasted 82* at Pit2. Alas.
  10. It is only in the summer. In winter, its ORH.
  11. Did you look at the EC map you were responding to?
  12. Yup--get out the shawls, get out the blankets.
  13. Yes. Dew of 59 remind me of dews of 78-80 as well. Reminds me of how much more comfortable it is. Either way, I'll be at Pit2 with the progged weekend highs of 78 and 82.
  14. It's a dry heat. Great for a seat in the shade.
  15. No drought as far as the eye can see.
  16. .26" at ORH. Glad I don't need to water today.
