  1. . He doesn't--his snow does. Nice event coming in for Hippy and my old stomping grounds in Shelburne.
  2. We had a couple of short-lived breaks. I wouldn't calling it clearing as we're back in the clouds.
  3. I'm not expecting we'll get much beyond this. .59" today, 4.42" on the month. What was once brown (I stopped watering as soon as our house went under contract) is now greening up. Perfect timing to get out of dodge wrt mowing.
  4. August is turning into a wet month for ORH. 3.98" so far, average for the month 3.81. 69*, RN+
  5. My wife and daughter won out re: Princeton. FWIW, Westborough is Worcester County, so now metrowest. No more snow for me though, even if I am in the high point of town. As far as traffic, I work from home and my wife reverse commutes to Worcester, so traffic won't really be an issue.
  6. I love that -7 up in the Canadian hinterlands. Meanwhile, my last weekend in ORH. Movers come on Monday and I head up to Pit 2 for 10 days before closing on a new Pit1 (Westborough). I'm moving in the wrong direction for snow. May as well bit the bullet and head to Savannah.
  7. Do you know where that 4.4 puts it in the rankings? The rest of the month will nudge 4.4 down a little.
  8. Multiple inches of rain and cool temps over the past week. I wonder what that will do for the August rankings?
  9. A quick downpour of 1.06". I got in my car and water was dripping down from the buttons to my sun-roof. Never had that happen before!
  10. This drought is a killer. What monsoon out there. 62*. We do not COC.
  11. Had it been showing a torch this week?
  12. FYI-- I just started this for discussing weather beyond this week.
  13. Truth told, TT posts about car temps around January 15th. just had more thunder. An eventful late-day and evening.
  14. Maybe I'm thinking I'm still in GC. Meanwhile, looks like things are done here. 1.71"
  15. We'll see. I guess it depends on the threshold of what warmth (like I said) is and heat. I know in late August, some lower the bar on what consitutes a torch. Rightfully so.
  16. Nah--we're done. We'll have warmth of course, but we're now into the "back-end snow' aspect of summer. Nothing to see here folks. Yeah--long duration event. 1.71".
  17. That looks like the Grrinch coming over the hill.
  18. That's the worst damage Tolland has ever seen. Horrific. Still a fair amount of thunder and lightning in seemingly all directions. Up to 1.4", 65*.
  19. Are the ASOS sensors accurate in insane rates like we had? ORH is at 1.23" at this point. That'll knock us down a few rungs on the August qpf rankings. Edit: 1.29"....really having a hard time stopping. Still some thunder/lightning. Close enough that my treks out to flip the steaks are pretty quick. The conitnuing rain helps make those fast, too.
  20. So I guess tomorrow and Tuesday will be summer's swan song. It broken. We done..
