  1. Does anyone know what kind of tree this is from? It’s just a little smaller than a golf ball. It’s kind of like a chestnut without spines.
  2. What a fantabulous day today was. We had some bouts of cloudiness, but mostly sunny, dewless 70's are hard to beat in August.
  3. Some on this board would hate that toilet paper wasn't sticking to their ass with dews in the 40's.
  4. Another August beauty. Cloudy, a little mist and 66*
  5. Why the concern about what happens in Maine?
  6. I might need to break out the shawl.
  7. da-dew-gone-gone-gone, da-dew-gone-gone
  8. Enjoy the greening up of your crispy lawn.
  9. Great to see the heat and dry conditions coming to an abrupt end.
  10. That's good for Kevin. I think his love for the feel of toilet paper stuck to his ass is winning over any other type of weather condition. He'll be relocating to FL before you know it.
  11. The irony that the guy who is so in love with HHH runs around bragging about his installs so he can escape from it all is mind-boggling.
  12. This is not a drought. There's more to a drought than a brown lawn.
  13. You might want to try adding a little more fiber to your diet.
  14. It's the way it goes. Sure there will still be some heat, but there's a change in the air. Later morning, earlier night. Losing nearly 2.5 minutes of daylight daily, I can put up with a few days of warmth. Despite the bombastic claims of others, the days are numbered.
  15. I'm sure the numbers pale in comparison to these.....but does anyone recall that thunderstorm that parked over Keene a while back (maybe 10 or more years?). I don't recall the totals but I do remember it was a ton. Again, I'm sure that total will pale in comparison to the record amounts talked about here.
  16. Do you realize I was making a joke reference to someone else's definition of what constitutes a soaking rain?
  17. It's only a soaking if you have 10-15X that much over the course of 2-3 days. Anything else is not a soaking.
  18. Don't worry--the qpf faucents will be wide open in time for the HRV runners this winter.
