  1. Truth told, TT posts about car temps around January 15th. just had more thunder. An eventful late-day and evening.
  2. Maybe I'm thinking I'm still in GC. Meanwhile, looks like things are done here. 1.71"
  3. We'll see. I guess it depends on the threshold of what warmth (like I said) is and heat. I know in late August, some lower the bar on what consitutes a torch. Rightfully so.
  4. Nah--we're done. We'll have warmth of course, but we're now into the "back-end snow' aspect of summer. Nothing to see here folks. Yeah--long duration event. 1.71".
  5. That looks like the Grrinch coming over the hill.
  6. That's the worst damage Tolland has ever seen. Horrific. Still a fair amount of thunder and lightning in seemingly all directions. Up to 1.4", 65*.
  7. Are the ASOS sensors accurate in insane rates like we had? ORH is at 1.23" at this point. That'll knock us down a few rungs on the August qpf rankings. Edit: 1.29"....really having a hard time stopping. Still some thunder/lightning. Close enough that my treks out to flip the steaks are pretty quick. The conitnuing rain helps make those fast, too.
  8. So I guess tomorrow and Tuesday will be summer's swan song. It broken. We done..
  9. 10. Yeah--the wind was insane. I was worried a tree might come down on our house a week before we sell it. I suppose I should be concerned that a tree could have come down on the house we're guying too. I guess that would be more of a sellers' angst than mine.
  11. By far the best event here in months....probably since the December snow storm. ORH reporting .77" in 11 minutes; 1.04" in 16 minutes
  12. Hailin,g, winds slackened....doesn't look like the rains's going stop for a while. Someone was supposed to pick up something I had put on Craigslist--she just texted me a picture of a tree down blocking her way. 65*
  13. Man--this is pretty insane in ORH. Worse than the TS the other day.
  14. Just torrential in ORH.....really windy. Not a ton of T/L, but enought to keep it lively. 69*
  15. Anyone have any experience with a Troy--bilt Vortex 2490 snow blower? The people we're buying from offered to sell there's to us. TIA.
  16. 73* at Pit 2. The way life ought to be.
  17. Ran into quite a storm on my way to Pit 2, just south of Kennebunkport. Torrential rains, hail.....traffic stopping on the Maine pike. Never rained at Pit 2, was sunny and 66* when I got there. Where COC lives.
  18. Meh. It's ovah. If I can manage to get my daughters cat into a carrier, I'll be heading up to Pit 2 (we'll be there for a couple weeks between closings). COC 76, 76 there this weekend.
  19. Princeton was on the list--but not surprisingly, my wife and daughter won out. It is a better spot with my daughter being at school in Marion. I told my wife to go ahead--my eyes are focused on getting up to Pit2 full-time.
  20. Well--we're not going to Southborough after all. We couldn't come to terms post-inspection. Our new destination is Westboroug, just signed p/s today. Right at the top of Mt. Westborough--translate, my snow situation will suck. At least I'm north of the Pike and outside of 495 for whatever that's worth.
  21. Bigfoot? I' actually happy about that. I had to buy air conditioners when we put the house on the market and now I'm trying to off-load them on Craigslist. Hopefully some uncomfortable people will be in the market.
  22. We won't do that here, but being at 65* now gives a nice start to the evening slide.
  23. Nice drop here, too. I just put on my shawl. Torrential.
