    I was thinking this morning that this is sort of like a mirror-image of a hateful winter when we punt January. Then February. And while there's still interest in March, there's a lot of melts and throwing in the towel as eyes turn to spring.

    It feels like October here at Pit2. Not sure what the deal is with the wind....GYX forecast is for 5mph. Meanwhile, it's whistling through the boat stays. Casting a lure is an exercise in futility.

    Incredible wind with the storms that blew down the Kennebec around 6:00pm yesterday. nice rainbow afterward. Double one at that.
