  1. Break out the shorts--I've broken 50* for the first time this Memorial Day weekend.
  2. I thought so too (though as a FD, I figured they'd be legit). Tossing out the outliers, there seems like there's a cluster in that area and a cluster a notch below: 4.44 4.43 4.25 3.7 3.49 3.37 3.3 3.2
  3. Yeah--those were the fire station. 7.26 (sprinkler left on??) 4.44 4.43 4.25 3.7 3.49 3.37 3.3 3.2 2.74 (stopped measuring sometime on Saturday) 0.0
  4. It's been torrential here for most of the past 45 minutes--hardest of the entire weekend as near as I an tell. 4.43" with nearly a.25 in the last 30 minutes.
  5. Just had a torrential downpour come through. 4.25" and 48*
  6. Up to .88" on the day, 4.06" since Thursday.
  7. .77 since midnight, up to 3.95 since Thursday. A summery high of 48*. Honoring the time-honored Memorial Day tradition of huddling by the woodstove.
  8. Have had the stove going two days in a row on Memorial Day weekend. At least it looks like it won't be needed tomorrow. 47/rn. bleh.
  9. I'd imaging s/he was pretty banged up. Getting hit by something that large at whatever speed the boat was going (let's say it was 30mph) is going to do some damage.
  10. GFS totals for those who care about such things.
  11. Coming into today, the WFD is showing 3.18".
  12. summe time, summe time, sum sum summertime.....
  13. A few fish have begun jumping in the Kennebec. They'll become much more numerous now as we head into June. Let the stripers and sturgeon runs begin.
  14. The members of the COC are in a stupor in a corner of the town hall telling themselves that the 4th weekend will save them.
  15. Up to 3.1" at the Westborough fire station. 45*.
  16. Nice--when are you going? That's on my list of placed I'd like to visit (and it's not a long list).
  17. I sure wasn’t expecting to be using the stove Memorial Day weekend. On the other hand, it was a great way to burn my f’n masks.
  18. Wow--2.94" at the Westborough fire house station.
  19. Even in the tropics of Westborough, we're at 49*. I probably should have gone up to Maine.......looks like they'll be escaping much of this.
  20. So sad--thank you for passing this along. Lift a glass to James and the great Cape Cod blizzards of past, future, and imaginary that gave him such excitement.
  21. Nice drink to push Stein back on his heels with the KO on it's way. Hopefully, no one decides to be claiming drought the next time we go 5 days without rain. I realize that's hoping in vain.
  22. Yup.....a big bromance happening there. They should get a room.
