  1. Congrats, Calais. Maybe the teachers in SNE will manage a delayed start.
  2. Hopefully the EPS spread will continue to show a leftward lean.
  3. Sounds like a GC/Maine bonanza If it weren't for my elderly mother-in-law staying at Pit2, I'd be headed up there now.
  4. Yup. I never one to lose on the first in hopes of the second. He's in a good spot for this first one and then let then let the second system do what it does.
  5. I may be reading out of context, so this may be off base. Are you predicting a monthly temp anomaly on the first of the month? Good luck with that.
  6. When Walt's posting about I-84 is it safe to say he's speaking of his CWA? So like the Brewster, NY - Scranton stretch? Hopefully it extends to include the Pike - 495 region.
  7. Why can't we stick with one solution 3 days out? You mean it might not happen that way? Meanwhile, 06 gfs is a Pit2 croaker. Happy '21, Weenies.
  8. Let out some white smoke and call in the Pope for the gfs blessing.
  9. That's more a 91 than an 84--not that it matters this far out. Days and days for this to wander around.
  10. Way off topic.....what had ever happened with Vim Toot? I was just cleaning up my message inbox and came across several with him from about 10 years ago.
  11. If you use weathertap, you can put in your address for a 'custom location' and it'll bring you down to 4 decimal places..
  12. I have no idea what you'd call Westborough. Just NW of the Pike/495 interchange. Regardless, it's not as snowing as Pit2, GC, or ORH.
  13. Show me a 10-year old who lives to mow the lawn, rake the leaves, and wash the car. I want to adopt him.
  14. I wonder how many people on the board get mildly discouraged everytime Phin (or freak) say something looks 'really nice'. What am I missing here? It shows much higher accumulations in SNH than by 1:00pm on Friday. By 1:00pm Saturday, the snow depth in MA not only exceeds that of SNH, but the amounts in SNH drop significantly. What am I missing? If I'm reading it correctly, I guess we toss. In any given situation, use whatever shows an iota of damage possibility.
  15. I suspect a large majority here would favor a good front-end winter and a ratter February/March than a weak December/January and good Feb/March. Unfortunately, I don't think snows limited to the first half of December rise to the level of a "front-end' winter. That said, much discontent.
  16. How about we close this thread down and just move to a February discussion.
