Well, there goes another storm thread that was started too soon onto the ash-heap of storms that weren't.

Quite the statement about the LA fires: The fires are barreling through the length of approximately five football fields a minute, Fox News reported, making containment in dense areas extremely tough for firefighters. Strong Santa Ana winds of up to 80 mph are propelling the flames and wind gusts of up to 60 mph are expected into Thursday.

WRT to the other thread, the only reason we had moved to create specific storm threads was to eliminate confusion when the discussions in the main thread were tracking multiple systems. I don't think there was any confusion by this wannabe and the rainer on January 19th.

Nothing like the wind. These are from the 2’ Jan 29 2022 (?) storm. The first picture is in the yard which is unobstructed from the water. The second is on the leeward side of the house.
