  1. BOX is having none of this nonsense for my hood. "less than an inch" Friday; "little or no" on Friday night.
  2. I think the bodies at near Pete, if I recall. That'll leave the drought conversation alive and well in Eastern Mass.
  3. One or two people will still find a way to voice great angst. I'm eager to see how much rain we can get at mi-casa.
  4. Well it was mildly amusing for a while for those on the edge. Pete ftw.
  5. Had you been living in Portland for a while? I recall reports from you from there.
  6. With a super sharp cut-off to meh.
  7. Time for Dave to gas up his generator. Not much concern at this point pretty much east of I-190.
  8. Stepping away from the storm for a minute---what a difference 24 hour made on the greenness of the lawns in my hood.
  9. If potential still exists in 36 hours, someone can start a thread.
  10. Pete's showing a little color at this point. Those of us on the sidelines wish those good luck to those in the game.
  11. Worthington's an awesome spot---I was pushing for a place there when we moved to GC.
  12. No one should start a thread before Thursday afternoon.
  13. Ballsy call at this juncture. Good luck.
  14. Nada on the breaks here, and none expected. I was envious of the sunny afternoon Pit2 had yesterday and today's mostly sunny forecast.
  15. But did you know that bears are not truly hibernating? In fact, no large mammal actually hibernates. While we commonly refer to a bear's winter repose as hibernation, it is actually a process called torpor.
  16. Pit 2 had a high of 75 at noon--it then dropped since to the current 51*. Back to the way spring is supposed to be in the Midcoast.
  17. Here are a few remembrances from April 4, 2008--right after moving to GC. A bit of a different look.
  18. The great Five Weenie Electrical Band
  19. Despite the sun and 52* temps, the strong NW off the water are making this less than an ideal day. Still better than yesterday though.
  20. Still sun through milky sky. Temp still up to 47* with a progged high of 54 though--we take.
