It'll be worse but not too bad. The large majority of leaves are down at this point, and the trees actually on my property are just about bare.
Try some saltines.
Yeah--looks like western areas of south of the pike are in the best spot for things.
Leaves are drying out quickly---no big deal with a decent blower.
Meanwhile, there were landscapers out by 6:30 while I was walking the dog. I'm sure the neighbors didn't mind. lol
Same here--except for the one that's overhanging my driveway. Ugh. Looks like I'll take care of what's down today and figure that last one will shed later today. Hopefully the wind will blow them all toward the neighbor's or the street.
I'm anticipating the same. The question will be whether to tackle them on Saturday or wait until Sunday for the Saturday night system to drive in the final nail.
The ones we have are young and off in an area of uncleared land between us and our neighbor. Close enough where they will make their way to the drive and who know where the wind takes them from there. In any case, I and the Stihl have them in our sights for the spring.
We did have a massive oak drop yesterday. Not sure what's remaining there. The hateful norwegian maples.....they're anothoer story. They just suck in every way.
Thanks for this Ray--always great to see you presenting this, not just because of the thinking that goes into it but also for getting us excited that yes--winter is coming.
From that crystal ball, I should be making some plans to be up at Pit2.
