    Overnight Periods of drizzle. The drizzle could be heavy at times. Areas of dense fog. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 63. Calm wind.

    Today was underwhelming. Humid but certainly no big deal with the mild temps. There's always later in the week. The worst thing at this point is the number of black flies. What's up with that? Just awful.

    Yeah--but August is still not hot. Tomorrow will be on the warmer side, but we've got a ways to go before the heat. Another big difference in the analogy is there's nothing exciting to realistically hope for in summer. Not too many people staying up for the 00z EPS to see what the dew points are going to be.

    I was thinking this morning that this is sort of like a mirror-image of a hateful winter when we punt January. Then February. And while there's still interest in March, there's a lot of melts and throwing in the towel as eyes turn to spring.

    It feels like October here at Pit2. Not sure what the deal is with the wind....GYX forecast is for 5mph. Meanwhile, it's whistling through the boat stays. Casting a lure is an exercise in futility.
