  1. Everyone. I would ask that The Sanitarium be used for those posts that don’t belong here. Those who are trying to learn / less experienced do not benefit from the drivel. Those with the knowledge ignore it. Please… no, I am not a Mod, so all I can do is ask. . Pro
  2. 39/33 here… wind out of the East at 5-10. . Pro
  3. @burrel2… Is it beaut because of the location / track of the LP? I know most here focus on NC, which I get… seems N GA (think Cherokee / Pickens County) gets a little left out, but I love learning about this stuff - we just have not had a lot of things to track recently for me to learn from. If I understand correctly, if the LP is further south, it is better for N GA, right? It basically matters where the moisture is in relation to the LP, right? . Pro
  4. Yeah - I left yesterday. Was worried about the sub-32 temps forecast and getting stuck on the mountain. . Pro

  14. Question for those of you who live in this area... I am heading up on Tuesday night to ski Wednesday and Thursday. What am I heading into? . Pro
  15. I am supposed to be skiing Wed / Thursday ext week at Cataloochee. Models are making me nervous. I keep hoping that crazy back and forth in the models will land on at least some snow there. . Pro

  18. We are on the border of snow here, but we got down to 30, which was 3-4 degrees colder than expected. Hoping that helps our chances in N GA. . Pro
  19. That is what spoiled me. Moved here in 2004, running from hurricanes, and got all of that snow..... Then the last few years hit ... REALITY SUCKS. [emoji23][emoji1787][emoji23] . Pro
  20. 35 all day with flurries this morning. . Pro
  21. I think the thing that spoiled me when I moved to N GA (from Florida) in 2004 was the number of years we got snow. To make it worse, Apple loves popping up “memories” of snow. That being said, MOST of those are from mid-late January to Valentines Day - so I hold out hope. I also ignore the GFS... [emoji1787][emoji23][emoji1787] Happy hunting. . Pro
  22. I was just going to mention that.... To those with a lot more experience, what thoughts do you have about “the polar vortex cometh”? . Pro
  23. I understand “cliff jumping” I understand hoping that 10-day forecasts are actually going to materialize I will never understand why people argue with posters like@Met1985, @griteater,@jburns,@buckeyefan1 (other than her choice of teams [emoji23][emoji1787][emoji23]), etc. Hammer . Pro
