Native New Englander - grew up in NH / MA, a few high school years in far South Texas, U-Lowell grad w/hobby interest in meteorology, spent a lot of time in the met lab at U-Lowell (smart folks!) Work assignments gave me a chance to experience weather in some cool places: 5 months in a beach condo at Destin FL;  3 years in Denver CO during a tech project, 4 autumn months in Springfield IL on another, and one year in Baton Rouge LA for yet another. Weather is always interesting no matter where I am, but NE weather rocks the best (though Denver and interior CO are a very close second!)
