  1. In this case for a well mixed atmosphere these progs are probably pretty close. I think somewhere around 40 knots is pretty close.
  2. My wife and I ended up taking out a home equity loan so we could sign on the dotted line faster, then flipped the condo once we had the land secured and just paid off the loan. Like Scott, we're settled now. Not going anywhere anytime soon. Now we're firmly in the middle of adding all the things we wished we added to the house when we built it phase.
  3. Even buying land (which we eventually did) was nuts. Had a lot and they went with another buyer who just threw the cash at them. Ultimately we ended up right next door, but still it was wild and I never really want to go through it again.
  4. That was maybe the most eye opening thing about buying a few years ago. Just instant pass by the sellers when they learned that we were also selling our condo.
  5. 100% in agreement. I got clubs stolen out of my car when it got broken into in 2012 so I had some insurance money to replace the lost clubs. I went to the best local fitter and they had me down to three drivers. The top two (Ping G30 and Callaway Razr Hawk) gave me an additional 30 yards.
  6. 115 days above 12" that year, 57! above 24".
  7. It's always fun playing courses you know really well. I can remember one time Ekster ended up on Carmel Beach and refused the drop. He couldn't get it over the cliff and back onto the course.
  8. It's tickling your fanny, because we've been in and out of the rain here. Really rate dependent at the moment.
  9. I mean at the moment my 2.5 year old loves to go out and "shovel" so it kills an hour and gets him outside. But I can also throw my headphones in and take a beer outside for an hour when I snowblow.
  10. My Ariens needs one more pass on the driveway, I'm tired of scraping these 1-2 events off before it ices up.
  11. The only thing I have left to decide today is whether I use a 100% blend or just a 90/10.
  12. Yeah, this is a laterally translating band that should make into your area before any warmer incursion. Still probably not looking at much accumulation overall.
  13. Can't complain at the office. This is a nice band right about overhead. Rates probably picked up to 0.5-1"/hr and finally started to stick on the roads.
  14. Maybe we can lose power one more time before the generator gets hooked up.
  15. Hey now, I said we slash highs by 20+ degrees and gusts to 35+ yesterday. It does look a little squally from ALY into BOX's CWA on the tip of that TPV.
  16. We actually had a standby generator delivered a couple weeks ago and I had to clear a 5 ft path through the yard for their equipment. Now that bare ground is allowing the sun to really do a number on my front yard.
  17. I actually have the most snowpack of the season outside of the mid December fluff that compacted down within 48 hours. Pretty solid 5 inches on the ground, but I'm losing like 0.5" a day.
  18. I think it really highlights how worthless deterministic guidance really is in the extended. The v16 does have some physical changes to the model this time around, but it's not wildly different than the v15. Honestly you could probably run the v15 twice and get different results too.
  19. I thought 295 was toast, but I didn't think we'd go straight rain at the WFO. That hurts.
  20. Zone average, so that's wrapping in totals from Hooksett too. I really issued it more for impacts on the commute than actual snow amounts anyway.
