  1. Happy New Year! Evening elixir of choice on this windy and seasonably chilly evening is a 2022 Bell's Expedition Russian Imperial Stout. Aged a 6-pack of this for 2.5 years in a dark cellar and the aging process didn't disappoint. One of the better RIS I've drank recently.
  2. So if the Jan 6 threat shits the bed, that bodes better for Heisy's HECS on the 11th right?
  3. Bullseye likely just N of the M/D line after the usual N trend over the final 72 hrs. Someone posted an individual ens member here earlier that will be close to the final, so it's certainly within the realm of possibility.
  4. I was only teasing anyway. We are all off our rockers here...every one of us.
  5. Someone with a screen name of MadMan wants to meet irl....what could possibly go wrong?
  6. Hopefully we can cash-in before Larry C's epic thaw call coming week of the 11th
  7. As you noted last week, we might be pulling out the "patience" card rather swiftly it seems.
  8. I wouldn't write it off. The eps have a good amount of hits in our region. Pretty sure any S trends have ceased....if you want to call them trends. But the slider sheared solutions to our S are losing their footing.
  9. How bout those Nittany Lions??? I have OSU beating Oregon, ND over GA, TX over AZ State. Would give my left nut for a PSU-OSU natl championship. Penn State is overdue.
  10. Interesting. Suppose that's sort of similar to that statistics Ive been logging over the years.
  11. Chicken vs egg question.....is that gyre you noted strengthening the NAO block and location OR is the NAO dictating what that 50/50 does? Or is it a beautiful tango where they are both intertwined and dependent of one another?
  12. Thunder and stuff. Champagne bottles falling from the sky.
  13. Just saw that LC sees that back side of the cold pattern and is touting a Jan thaw week of the 12th. I'm having trouble cherry picking the ens for any legit warmth in the LR. Is he going off of climo or is this showing on some obscure guidance now?
  14. That was me that posted that. I don't recall seeing a closed +PNA with the stj moving in reverse to the South of it. Looks like the itcz in late August displaced way North.
  15. ICON says yes to the Wiggum Rule on Friday following the 60 degree temps on Sunday
  16. GFS has been all over the place. Euro and ICON have been steadfast. Not saying either is correct, just noting.
  17. I know we were told not to read the models at this range (^^^) but we are closing in on a SECS for parts of the region for Monday-ish. ICON shifted the heaviest banding precariously close to the region. Upper levels are beginning to trend favorably with better confluence, better.nao position, and a better positioned and strength 50/50. Buckle up.
  18. Crazy uncle UKIE pastes most of SE PA with a half foot of white gold early next week.
  19. Next threat on the gfs looks...threatening. sweet 500mb setup
  20. Well, it is the child of Doctor no so it is fitting... must be something in the algorithm's dna apparently. A little evil side that loves to f*ck us. Whenever someone posts that model I think of "Mini Me" from Austin Powers.
  21. Let's see if the Wiggum Rule verifies since we hit 60 last week Dec. Need to see some flakes in the air at some point over the next 5 days.
