  1. Also have to wait for the actual system to develop near Oklahoma tomorrow afternoon. Usually a crapshoot until the main player is actually on the map. We've seen some significant swings historically in these situations. Jan 96 was the biggest where 48bhrs before the system finally came together then guidance bumped the heaviest banding N 100 miles. It happens. Eta: I am not comparing this system to Jan 96 just using that banding shift as an example
  2. We all still get accumulating snow. And that's the odd part about popping into some other subforums South of us...almost everyone will see accumulating snow but people are in some sort of panic. Guess ppl are banking on the heaviest banding. That's always the bonus jackpot. But just adding onto seasonal totals is a win in my book. Take what you can get and never be disappointed with accumulating snow.
  3. Usually in overunning situations like this where we are waiting for the system to actually develop guidance bounces all around. Once this gets going around Oklahoma tomorrow afternoon is when we should finally have some sort of realistic concensus. We are playing the windshield wiper game still with that heavier fronto band and we just can't know N , S , or center yet.
  4. We won't get shutout but we won't hit the jackpot clearly. Mid Atl turn and that is fine. Just get me a few inches Monday to fill my fix for now
  5. We r prolly toast. Tho I sacrifice this one for the 2nd half January hecs
  6. We were about to get NAM'D good but the run ended
  7. It's an asshair, like Randy said.
  8. Y'all are locked in...chill. Just hoping the N extent can continue to expand for us in my locale so we all do the snow dance come Monday.
  9. The beer gurus on this site need to have a meet and greet sometime....and I'm not talking Natty Lite and Coors folks, no offense.
  10. I have a 4-pack sitting in the cellar...aging. I like New Holland's products. Just picked up a variety of Southern Tier products....Irish Cream Stout, Mokah, and Strawberry Shortcake. Currently sipping on a 2.5 year cellar aged Brooklyn Dark Chocolate Stout. Really nice and mellow...mouthfeel is incredible. I was eyeing my aged Dogfish Head 120 minute....but will save that for a snowy day
  11. Can someone please post the last 3 or 4 euro op kuchera for comparison? Please and thanks.
  12. It's on. I'm almost nervous of much more north movement lol.
  13. Agreed. Some wild swings still happening. Those should ease by 12z tomorrow I would think. NAM looks like it wants to miss us AND most of the Mid Atl and slide way south. Alas, it's the 12k NAM at range. But expect more jumping around around next 24 hours at least.
  14. I don't disagree. We are still at range where 50-60 mile jumps with the precip band can occur. Once we get to about 12z Friday those jumps transition to ticks. And by 0z Sunday I think we have a final solution. That's why I don't mind NOT being in the bullseye just yet. We know the drill.
  15. LC backpedalled from his earlier epic pattern reversal and big thaw during week of Jan 11. Now suggests a slight relax for a period while the pattern reloads and sets up a return to intense winter weather late January and early February.
  16. This might be the start of the predictable N trend with these types of systems. We'll see I guess.
  17. 18z euro is a hit for Philly 1/6 big jump n
