  1. Surface still blows donkey....though agreed h5 improved with trough axis going neg earlier.
  2. Not basing things verbatim off of models....just using them as a blend for guidance. Especially weighing more heavily on the ens still ar this range. If I were just looking at the cmc or gfs then I might agree. But looking at the overall flow across N America and into the Atl region, looking at ens members and means, and looking at recent systems as well as traditional Nina regimes, this one just isn't giving me the warm fuzzies. I'm done debbing (though just being realistic tbh) on this one...its the last I will mention my thoughts on it for today in lieu of upsetting folks which isn't my m.o.
  3. Sure we have....almost every single threat is an uphill battle. It is never easy.
  4. There's always a chance. Up until Saturday there's a chance. But with the progressive pattern and no blocking it is going to take a change of mass proportion to get this to begin trending into a coastal hit. If we had some support or the mentioned blocking I think more realists would side with you Randy. But this is like the 1980 USA Olympic hockey team walking into qualifiers....a chance but probably need a miracle.
  5. Have to agree with you here. We've been watching this blowup well offshore for days and support is beginning to grow outside of a few rogue op runs past few days and a few western ens outliers
  6. Does try for the system after the system after the next system near day 9ish so there's that.
  7. What do you make of the separation between the TPV in Quebec and the sw in the SE US? More evident with the new run just wondering what implications might be either way.
  8. Does the storm after this still have a signal? For shits and giggles.
  9. Yeah, 18z GFS just said hold my beer and gave me the double finger.
  10. Thank you weekend shift for putting in the hours while I am at work with limited access. Much appreciated on the pbp.
  11. They need to change ownership. I think they are tanking intentionally. The ownership is possibly the farthest distant ownership to team sport across the board. They could care less. Until they stop filling seats. Which may or may not ever happen. But ever since Snyder passed, the franchise isn't even a distant memory of its past identity. It is simply non-existent. Horrible.
  12. Yep. Made a tongue in cheek post i deleted but I agree with you on this.
  13. Anything different from gfs sounds like it will end up being a disaster..running out of time to get this right too Yeah only a week to go....time running out
  14. If you held a gun to me I would say the trof axis is too far east and less stj energy being depicted so favors off the coast and hitting New England. Also progressive NS also suggests likewise.l with a crud Atlantic look.. Of course if it amps up and does have some stj play we could be talking an inside runner. As much as folks dont want to hear it, major timing issues evident wrt jet stream energy so likely a thread the needle scenario. I think you r fine for now sir but subject to change since we are talking 7 days out.
  15. Yup it was a disaster. It reminded me of something like dec 30 2000. We got extremely lucky on that run Ugh, you had to go there? Almost as bad as that other storm that will go without naming. Some Miller Bs go into the vault as epic disasters and their memories should remain encased in that vault never to be mentioned again. Always great for New England, rarely good outside of there. Was March 2001 also a Miller B?
