Well put. I do like a December storm to kick it off, but we have had many great years with snow starting in late January. . -
My money is on the GFS. .

I was 11 years old living in NJ. First time witnessing Thundersnow. Was my favorite storm of all time until Superstorm 93. .

For those old enough, this is feeling like an 80s winter. Growing up as a kid sucked snow wise in the 80s .

Looks like models picking up on pattern better. Lots of clippers and cutters. .

Yeah huge temp swings this morning. Car thermometer went from 32F to 45F in a couple miles drive around Bear. .

Very strong signal. I am not a fan of early snow, but at least it would be November. .

It happens fast. I was up here in Northeast CT 7 days ago and they were around 40 to 50%. Now I am here again today and they are peak. .

Astros were the better team. Red Sox didn’t choke. Astros rookie pitcher dominated them. .

Yeah, radiated low temperatures never impress me much. I’m impressed with minimum high records. That’s the true indicator of how cold it really is. .
