  1. Storms in Lanco looking severe. Seeing hail signature on radar. .
  2. Picked up 1.27” of rain from thunderstorm complex. 6.25” for month so far. 72.3F .
  3. Never made it out of 60s. Backdoor Cold Front for the win. .
  4. For our location yes, that is very extreme. I lived in Nebraska for a few years. Talk about extremes. Easily -10s in winter and 105F to 110F in summer.
  5. Those things always end up further south and west than modeled. .
  6. Getting some outflow bands of clouds from MCS. Wonder if any storms fire up along that boundary. .

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH Watch county notification for watch 442 National Weather Service State College PA 148 PM EDT Thu Jun 19 2025 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of District Of Columbia Delaware Maryland Northern North Carolina New Jersey Southeast Pennsylvania Central and Eastern Virginia Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia Coastal Waters * Effective this Thursday afternoon and evening from 145 PM until 900 PM EDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts to 75 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...A line of thunderstorms will move off the mountains of western Virginia and southern Pennsylvania, spreading eastward across the watch through the afternoon and evening. Damaging wind gusts and hail are possible in the stronger storms. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 90 statute miles east and west of a line from 35 miles north northeast of Allentown PA to 20 miles east of Danville VA.   9. I also am switching to real food.....raw milk and cheeses, 100% grassfed beef. Only buying meats from the amish farmer.
  10. Picked up 1.16” from thunderstorm that rolled through. .
  11. Could be some record breaking high minimums.
