  1. Snow ending here, never got beyond flurry size flakes but heavy enough to total 3"!
  2. Radar looking like more of a glancing blow/flizzard without a lot of accumulation here. Maybe the heavier returns will fill in more northward but it's looking weak for me! Glad to be getting some daytime flakes though!
  3. Current status in Cashiers. Not real impressive yet... Except for the truck. [emoji3526]
  4. Starting to lightly flurry here. 26 degrees w/ 22 dewpoint.
  5. I actually live at my plumbing supply store now, no more trudging through sketchy poorly maintained roads to get to work. I like driving in it when I want to, not because I have to! Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  6. Used to, now I live in "downtown" Cashiers metropolis. [emoji3526] Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  7. Same here, started the morning at 20 under clear skies and now warmed to 23 but cloud cover thickening quickly. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  8. GSP discussion mentioned the bullseye being around the Ellicott Rock area, which I'm 6 miles north. Hope you score well! Can't. Freaking. Wait. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  9. GSP did mention in a previous discussion that landslide threat will be legitimate. I just hope it doesn't hurt anyone! Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  10. Quarter sized flakes and lots of 'em! Woohoo! Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  11. Heavy snow showers at the moment. Loving it! Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  12. I'm no met, but since ice expands a bit when it freezes, it might be 1.1:1 ratio with ZR. Probably not worth thinking about.
  13. Got about a half inch on elevated surfaces now. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  14. Currently snowing in Cashiers NC! Started as big fat graupel balls. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  15. Last couple mornings I've been 10 degrees lower at sunrise than NOAA forecasted. Ten freaking degrees. That's just crazy! Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  16. It's a bit early for actual cliff diving. Wouldn't be a bad idea this far out, however, to scout where the best spot is to jump from.
  17. It's always music to my ears, regardless of how many times it doesn't pan out.
  18. Thank you. While all our dreams haven't yet come true, at least we're in a situation to dream. Right guys?! Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  19. Those neighbors are the worst. We have some that shoot fireworks for an entire week starting at 10pm and ending in the early AM. All...damn...week. So I'll sign on to this sentiment.
  20. Glad to be in the mountains where we haven't hit the upper 80s yet. I'm sitting at just shy of 71" of rain year to date! Crazy wet year but the dry spell last month created a dust bowl in just a couple weeks. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  21. I just make myself laugh to avoid my tears. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  22. Lots of brining happening on the roads as well for anyone who'd be interested to know. Seems like the cars would wear it off the road before the party begins. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  23. Waynesville tonight was clear and calm, could see stars. Was 40 degrees at 8ish while Cullowhee was overcast and 45 degrees. News trucks were in the Waynesville Lowe's parking lot. They're situated nicely for the next couple days. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  24. I live in cashiers, hoping to get smoked. [emoji1787] Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  25. This is how Earth will look from space buried in the ten feet of snow we're going to get. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
