  1. I mean I can foresee a 12-18 hour of sleet/freezing rain here before we go back to snow.
  2. Looks like a prolonged period of crap icing for many areas inland Sunday night, Monday AM, etc. Should be real nasty stuff with snow before and after.
  3. Gonna be a lot of taint issues Sunday PM/Monday AM too... quite borderline at H7.
  4. Euro looks too warm in the boundary layer to me back this way Sunday night.
  5. I definitely enjoy summer way more than I used to. I don't care for a 75 dew point like Woody but I used to like winter/summer equally and have definitely moved to more of a summer fan.
  6. At 5 days out... lol. What a hype machine in Moosup you've become.
  7. Oh, I've done it quite often for big storms modeled 6 or 7 days out. There's no alert or anything. It's a heads up - I'm sure my bosses would be thrilled if I hyped the hell out of it but I have no interest in doing that. I also had that graphic as like the 8th in my show out of 12 or 13... so I'm not even leading with it.
  8. I mean the pattern (as modeled now) doesn't look so bad with some confluence to the north. Certainly some interesting signs here.
  9. I can't. I mean it's could be a wintry mix... we'll have to watch it. And of course people should come back and keep an eye on it if they have plans. Of all the mets in the world who hype sh*t I think it's funny that you're coming at me.
  10. Yeah it was a pretty brief mention lol Not sure what Ginx's problem is... it's like 6 days out.
  11. Mini storms - not much lightning but plenty of wind.
  12. It's definitely a QLCS but an embedded supercell (it was a beast) developed over Hartford and moved east into Mass.
  13. Wow - just pulled up the data on GR. That's one hell of a QLCS.
  14. 58F this morning at BDL. We take.
  15. More south coast spinner fun next week? Nice deep trough over Great Lakes and anomalous meridional flow and high dews. We spin.
  16. lol Let me start using downtown Hartford for overnight lows in the winter.
  17. Interesting to see so much of our warming in the last 2 decades has been in July and August while June has not had a lot of warm ones. This is for BDL.
  18. It's amazing seeing how many of these hot months we've been racking up in the last 20 years.
  19. BDR will be 3rd warmest July on record. Norfolk 7th on record. Norwich is 4th. So yes, BDL is leading the pack and CT as a whole will not have its warmest month on record... but probably top 2 or 3.
  20. Yeah 97/68 with a WSW wind at 15 knots. Def possible.
