00z took a small step back compared to 18z

Looking through the GEFS individual members for our threats: Till around NYE: Through the 4th of Jan: And then till the 9th of Jan: The GEFS members seem to be more or less hinting at 3 different storm threat time periods... but they are still kind of muddled.

00z GFS is boring for any real storm threats... 00z FV3, on the other hand is very nice. Decent hit for late Dec 30-31 is shown on the snow maps but the frozen/rain maps for that period don't seem to add up (shows rain across the region as snow accums increase)... and then another hit on Jan 3-4 Large brutal arctic blast then comes in starting Jan 5th till the end of the run looking at the 850s

it's been kind of consistent on the first threat being rain for us and a hit for PA into New England though... the 2nd one on Jan 2 the GFS has been agreeing with on that threat

18z GFS weak wave for NYE with no real precip... but a small quick hitter late Jan 1 into early Jan 2

So 12z GFS and CMC like a quick hitter of something like 1 to 3 for NYE... while the 12z EURO declines to show anything and the 12z FV3 is north in PA to New England

I forgot who it was... but how did the Caps drink work out? The one with upside down guy drinking from the Cup on the can? Did you sell out of it quickly?

I deleted my post and had to fix it to what I just posted before you above... yes, I saw. Looks nice. The end of the run is meh in the Pacific and our -NAO disappeared
