    Hit a bucket of golf balls at range yesterday and the ground wasn’t soggy at all. A tiny bit wet, but I would call it mud at all. Glorious.

    Sounds like Passaconaway in Litchfield, NH. Last year during round 1 of the New Hampshire Mid-Am the back 9 had 3 par fours playing longer than 460. One of them was like 485. And if you miss the fairway by more than 5 yards, play for bogey.

    The pros have to be good at everything because the courses are so long. For us weekenders, if there’s one thing to be good at it’s the short game. Even if you only hit it 200 yards max, you can score by chipping and puttingwell.
