Buddy in Atlanta received enough snow to make 2 snowman with the kids and still have the yard covered. While I stare outside at the dead leaves and sticks covering my yard from this week's endless wind.

What's that feeling like? To wake up and look out the window and go: "damn it snowed again!". I honestly can't remember the last time I woke up in the morning and was surprised by the amount of snow we go overnight. January 2015 maybe

My buddy who works in Home Depot corporate reports that they are freaking out down there. Ordering in salt/sand from everywhere. But looking at soundings... the atmosphere is like 32F up to 5,000 ft. Could be a couple inches of snow/freezing rain or a cold rain. It's borderline.

Absolutely useless cold. My 2 year old last night asked me to read her Winter Things by Dr. Suess and she goes “Dad - I want to play in the snow.” Poor kid.
