Golf & Ski Warehouse in Hudson, NH is my go to golf shop. New, used, etc.

Up here I’ve chatted up the guys in the pro shops. Weekend tee times can be saved for a fee. Most weekend morning tee times are saved. However, if said saving group can’t attend, they have to cancel on Thursday. So I just monitor tee sheets on Thursday.

Big day for college basketball as a whole as many of its better players withdrew from NBA draft. I made it a point last year to really pay attention to college basketball and I’m glad I did. Definitely in again this year.

My team wanted to send me there this week and next. Got out of it.

One thing I’ve noticed about my own game over the past couple years is that if you have a strong short game, you can still score well. Last Friday at Passaconaway in Litchfield I struggled but I chipped in three times (once for birdie, twice for par). Ended with a +3 74. Last Monday I had nothing at Overlook in Hollis. I played from the wrong hole 6 times, hit 1 fairway and I don’t think I had a birdie putt inside 40 ft all day. But my putter was working and I shot the ugliest +5 76 the course has ever seen. All this to say boys & girls to practice your short game!

Played in my second New Hampshire Golf Association event this past Sunday. Partner event at Keene Country Club. 1st 6 holes: fourball 2nd 6 holes: modified alternate shot 3rd 6 holes: scramble Partner & I: -1, +5, -5 = -1 and a T-11. (alternate shot is hard)
