Spruce Pine has a couple inches per family. Asheville has been sunny almost all day, I expected a bit more action here.

Its definitely going to warm up after next week's cold shot. The question is what pattern comes next and how long does it take to establish itself.

Asheville recorded a freeze November 1 but Charlotte and Raliegh hasn't. Next week looks promising for them

New England looks like a fun spot to be in December if that's correct. Storm track could be an issue for us southern folks but it's a long ways out yet

Well the best non traditional snow (non gulf low, Miller A/B or upper low) was the super clipper in Jan, 2003. There were also some rogue NW flow events that broke containment in the early 2000s if I remember correctly. I have never recorded more than .5 or a dusting from a true NWFS and even getting that is super rare
