It's not sticking but I have thoroughly enjoyed these snow showers. My kids finally got to see snow falling and experience catching snowflakes

I never said it wouldn't be. But as you know cold doesn't equal snow and it looks unlikely next week.

I won't be surprised at a warm February because it is climo with La Ninas but I do not trust the Weeklies one bit. It was adamant about a cold pattern coming most of last winter that never happened. The next Weeklies could look the direct opposite. As far as next week is concerned, yes it will be below average but not to the degree it was showing. Monday will be about 70 in non CAD areas.

The Weeklies were just saying it was going to be -20 below average all next week right? They are about as useful as the 84 hour NAM

Unfortunately my negativity about wintry weather is usually correct. I wish I was wrong this time, and maybe I still am. But it begs the question, would you rather be right or happy?

We need the storm to move quicker instead of wait to eject. If its faster there appears to be more cold air around.

And where is all the blocking? The flow seems too progressive and fast to me almost like a typical Pacific driven flow.. 23 one morning and raining a day later.

CAD is nothing but a pipe dream these days. If we get another cutter after the one Sunday, I'm done.

Could be a band of snow or mix across WNC system 1 before it warms up

The UK is pretty solid. I haven't kept up with verification scores but it used to be above the GFS.
