Geez. I’m just going to ask my daughter how much it’s going to snow. She turned 5 to today. Maybe she’ll sell us her birthday wish? My Venmo is… -

Agreed. Even though winds are turning WSW, they won’t be blowing hard at all. With limited data (obv) w/ local snow cover, I don’t think the models handle temp forecasting well around here

lol. Great sledding terrain near you . Lived on Cowper several years pre-covid. Jan 2017 provided some of the best street sledding ever!

I’m from MHC and almost got stranded at my friends. Good thing his dad had a Bronco or I’d been celebrating Christmas at the wrong address. 18” of concrete was sweet!

Snowball fight in North Hills tonight? I'm near Honey Baked Ham off Six Forks...

1-2" will be solid. And nearly every flake will stick. Gonna be like Feb 25th, 2015 storm but w/ a later start. Cars were stranded all over the Triangle...

God, I wish I didn't have so much work and would drive to my roots in Carteret County. They are gonna get pasted.

Well, it is my last name - many years of practice

Ahh, my senior year in college. I was taking a Weather and Climate elective, and my professor started tracking the storm on Monday. By Wednesday he thought it could be a significant storm (4-6”). Meanwhile, Greg remained very conservative until Friday. TBH, no one predicted the LP to stall off the coast and the bands of heavy snow just parked over Raleigh. 24” - IT WAS EPIC

That’s what she said…
