UGGHHH, sorry. My oldest son is in ATL tonight, flying between there and DCA tomorrow mid afternoon. Begged him to change his flight because of my suspicions for tomorrow, based on your report this evening. Mr. "I CAN HANDLE IT, DAD" was having no part of it, though. Sun AM Update: I talked my son into changing his flight to Mon AM, he's seen some of the radar and storm coverage from FL last night and this morning, and I shared this post with him. Thx for the report, @bigtenfan...you helped me put his travel decision over the edge.

Yeah. Every time LWX slips in that little "20% of showers overnight," I always cover the patio furniture. Have gotten burned every time I didn't in that situation. :/

Wow, just looked at that Oceans Calling music festival lineup, if that's what mappy and CAPE are discussing -- I would personally LOVE to see Third Eye Blind, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Gin Blossoms and Fitz & The Tantrums. Not necessarily in that order. Have always wanted to see Gin Blossoms live, one of my fave bands of all time...

I've noticed a LOT more monarchs flitting about over (at least) the past month or so...like, so many more than in previous years. We have two huge butterfly bushes in front of our home, but I don't think that's why there's so many more. Also, they are apparently getting more domesticated...a couple of have flat out landed on my hands or arms lately!

Aaaand, again this morning! Heavy drizzle and 56. First morning since spring I've had to yank on sweats and the fleece zip-up just to be comfy IN the house. We may have had this convo in recent years...but I like this kind of weather, at least for a day or two. Folks are probably getting cabin fever after being confined by Ophelia last weekend...but I still like it.

As a lifelong Dolphins fan, who's been used to disappointment more than the alternatives...I approve of this assessment.
