Glad you are ok. Does your snowmobile have an emergency pack? I love snow but the older I get the more respect I have for it - especially when it's over a foot.
I've put my checkbook away for now, but for every snowstorm predicted to deliver accumulating snow and actually delivers 8"+ and shuts down DC Metro above ground, AMWX gets a $100 check.
Little River Turnpike at Braddock Road (near Annandale) was completely covered when I drove back from a party. Side streets are all white. Moderate snowing. I'm happy.
OK, I'm putting my money where it counts. If this storm produces 8" or more in the DC metro area and Metro closes above ground tracks/stations, I will write a check for $100 to A/W. Bring it!
