I just drove home from camp, which is about 1400’ between Hardwick and Walcott. The car thermo was 36° when I left and 28° when I got down to Rt.15. Going up Rt.14 through the gulf to Woodbury, the temp spiked to 41° and then dropped to as low as 23° in North Montpelier. It was cool seeing the temps bounce around.

33.9°and had a brief snow/graupel shower blow through.

I listened to an interview with her today. I didn't realize that King Kong was her first movie.

I think you can safely remove the "Choke in the playoffs" part of that graphic this year.

The only issue I have had was when 2 of the brackets inside the gutter somehow came out (or were left in the gutter loose by the installers) and blocked the downspout. I've never noticed water overflowing.

I call this “Scooter weather” tonight, it’s 40° and raining.

Mine is a solid cover where the rain goes in over a lip from surface tension. It works well, I’ve never had a clog. This one isn’t mine but it looks pretty much like this.

You know, I haven’t thought about that. I don’t have many pines around my house. It might not work.

Do yourself a favor and get gutter guards leaf filter installed. They work great. I never have to get up and clean mine.

It's not like it hasn't been dry up here but nowhere near what you guys have had. I was out inspecting a snowmobile trail project earlier this afternoon and this is what the woods look like around here. This wasn't even the wettest part.

That would be something for opening weekend of deer season in VT. Might not make it to camp. Actually, that's Sunday so I would get up there Friday night but might not be able to make it home. Let's do this!

It’s funny, I went to Montpelier to walk on the bike path and the temp jumped into the 40’s just before exit 7 and down over the hill. I figured that area was probably open to mixing. It dropped back into the 30s halfway down to exit 8.

34.5° WTF?! I thought November lows were supposed to be mid 50s!

Yesterday evening I drove down to Montpelier and the temp on the car thermo went form 52° at exit 8 to 64° at exit 7. It was a wild swing.

I fear mushrooms are going to start spouting with the .07 I've received this week.

Yeah, it’s not been a rainforest by any means but we have gotten .59 this week.

So I bought new irons earlier this year and I’ve done ok with them. Still need lots of work from the fairway. I seem to hit them better with a little grass underneath the ball and our fairways tend to give pretty tight lies. Late in the year I made what I consider my best golf purchase ever, a Ping G430 driver. I didn’t get a massive increase in distance but my consistency has greatly improved. It’s especially noticeable with my mishits. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still a 19-20 handicap but my driving is so much better. I sort of don’t want the season to be ending. At least it’s gone out on a beauty.

T’was a beautiful night to get in what will likely be my last round of the year. Course closes Sunday.

Look at the wild ride my temps have taken over the 24 hours. It was 62° when I went to bed last night.

My temp has jumped from 49° to 61° I. The last 3.5 hours.
