  7. If you are 30 to 40 miles or more to the north and west you get 1 to 2 feet. 0z was similar.
  8. I had the same experience driving from Reading PA to Lancaster PA on Sunday morning. Went from cloudy skies with temperatures near 40 to heavy snow with the temperature dropping to 34 in just a few miles. The ground had about a half inch however there was slush covering the highway. There is no significant elevation in that area however there was heavy snow with visibility down to 1/4 mile. Scary thing is the other drivers were not slowing down as much as they needed to.
  9. I am not in Montauk today but I am in Lancaster PA. Moderate snow falling which is sticking to all surfaces. Light accumulations.

  11. I am in NW Philadelphia at this time. Steady light snow. 39 degrees.

  14. Many stations reporting gusts of 40 - 50 mph along the south shore now.
  15. Your theory has verified out here. Strongest gust to 36 mph just before the squall line hit. Still gusts to about 20 mph with heavy rain, lightning and thunder as it passes through here.
  16. Strongest wind gust I have seen on the south shore recently is 48 mph at Oak Beach.
  17. Wind gusts in the dry slot out ahead of that feature are gusting up to 26 mph where I am in eastern PA.
  18. Radars in central PA looking fairly impressive at this time with the squall line now passing to the east of the Harrisburg area. Ground obs are indicating that the strongest winds are remaining aloft however. Wind gusts in that area have maxed out in the 30 to 40 mph range so far.
  19. 12z NAM is continuing to show the further north track for the Sunday event. Looking like a washout for many if it verifies.
