Congrats dude! The owners of Tres Amigo have done a great job in the past couple years. The remodeled and modern interior, to go along with good food and drink is pretty sweet. It's a good Mexican option in town. Add in the Creeme stand along the Rec Path and the business has a good opportunity. Also, Rec Path etiquette drives me insane on those bridges...First come first serve. The group already on the bridge has right of way, whether walking, running, biking, rollerblading, whatever. Yield and let them come all the way over before starting.

Off-topic but were you and the family biking the Stowe Rec Path last night? I was walking my black lab and waited at the end of one of the bridges for a family of bikers to pass and it looked like it might have been you and the wife. Only reason I wasn’t sure is your boys looked so old! If it was you, wow they grow up fast, ha. It was the bridge just downhill of Sushi Yoshi... I’m back there on the river towards the end of that dirt road you cross at Tres Amigos.

To be fair though, forecasting warmth in the summer (above normal) every JJA will yield a higher win percentage than going below normal JJA every summer in this new climate.

Just once I want him to call for a low dew and below normal period in the summer. Even if just a week. I doubt we’ve seen that since the EUSWX days when he used to forecast chilly all year long. In a way it’s like politics in the summer on here...can always sell it a certain way regardless of the facts. There’s no changing teams regardless of what model data says.

This at the Davis or ASOS? I bet you could get at least 30% of the days hitting a 70F dew at the ASOS (if you are talking even just one ob at 9am).... and 60% or more at a Davis station.

Yeah that’s my overall feeling, especially for you guys in SNE. Obviously runs cooler up here with more chances of lower-humidity and lower temps.... but I’ve noticed a lot of our “Chamber” days up here still come with hot readings down south. A lot of days this summer it seems that look like this up here with 70s (except torch spots near BTV/CPV).... but then you see upper 80s in S.NH on this graphic and know it was another hot one at the lower SNE sites.

What’s happening the final 16 days of August?

Yeah it’s quite evident on a topo map. It sticks out and then drops off into the city of Worecester. Same as Tolland’s hill... always out in the free air with nothing blocking it. Like 1500ft at the ski resort up here radiates for shit... because it’s on the edge of a bench that drops off into town. It looks very similar to the ORH airport on a bigger scale. I bet 600ft in Worcester is colder at night than the airport.

I do think ORH and Kev are very similar on lows. ORH never radiates at all. HubbDave radiates quite a bit from what I’ve seen over the years. Like we say, not all elevations are the same.

Oh my bad then. Didn’t know there were two. Lots of TOLLA stations out there.

Ha salesmen. Someone asks what the low was at STEM and you quote your truck reading that was 6-7F warmer than their low.

Looks like you probably struggled to get into the low 80s based on ORH’s obs. You need to get a house at sea level for the summer.

Jeez. 77F here, -3 on the high temp. We’ll see what we can radiate to prior to midnight for the daily.

It’s not that the graphic or forecast is wrong, it just looks like what I think of when I think of summer. More humid closer to the ocean, storms and rains in the Appalachians from WV to NNE, sea-breezes, watch out for tropical threats on the Gulf Coast, a battle ground of WNW flow out of Canada and SSE flow out of the Atlantic basin, etc. You could roll that map out any summer and it would be a good place to start... and with no numbers to judge it on its like the Farmers Almanac. But then again, props to anyone who takes the time to put their thoughts out there like that...I certainly don’t so not sure I have much to stand on critiquing it.

Definitely going out on a limb calling for thunderstorms in the mountains during the summer. To be honest it looks like a climo map. Sea breezes at the coast even. Without actual numbers it’s hard to judge. That’s like a farmers almanac map that says “cold with periods of snow” in the Great Lakes and NNE for the winter.

Wow, Portland got #1 hottest too? #3 for BTV and #5 for ALB. Regardless of where it actually falls, that’s a warm month I guess.

Well if it’s a dew of 70F at 8am and then mixes out to 62F at 2pm, that day can also be counted in the number of summer days with dews <65, lol.

Hopefully it hit Fenway too. Edit: LOL looks like I’m late to that one by 15 minutes.
