Just noticed Garrett county has a WAA for 2-4" today. It's been snowing all day at the house on the cams. Over a foot of snow there since Saturday morning. Pretty impressive for the time of year even for the mountains.
Great event, glad you were up this weekend to enjoy it.
what I didn’t enjoy was that drive on 68 this morning - basically white out conditions until we got out of the county. Light snow in frostburg and sun was out in Cumberland. Such an interesting climate out there!
I’m fully rooting for a SE ridge but I’m embracing the snow while I’m out here. When I’m back in Alexandria tomorrow, I’ll be checking the models for AN temps haha.
Yep, gusts around 30-35 a few times. I’ve got 26 on the weather station for the temp. Snow has been coming down good the last few hours. Seems like at least 8” should be a good bet at this rate.
Squall coming over the lake as we’re having cocktails at Firewater. Garrett County got upgraded to a warning through early tomorrow morning for an additional 3-8”.
