We spend every year between Christmas and New Years at our place in McHenry. The last three years have been snowless (and the last two years have sucked in terms of rain/50s) but the three years before that featured snow falling. December 2017 had like 18” on the ground with a few storms in that timeframe.
“see you” on the mountain! I turn 40 during that week so maybe that will bring the goods ha.
After a lull for a few hours, currently mod to heavy rain. Up to 0.6” for the day. 55 degrees after a high of 58.
Peak foliage here for Autumn Glory - pretty decent color but a bit muted from last year. Still quite beautiful in places.
We’re solidly in the +1-+2 deviation with EZF on the +2 line. I could see if we were barely on the + side at all but I’m not following the concern from a seasonal map where we are clearly in the + precip anomalies.
