  1. Last day of vacation at the beach in Maine. 82, sunny right now. Water temp is like 60 which feels like needles stabbing you, but water is crystal clear and perfect waves for boogie boarding.
  2. Hockey > Orioles just saying
  3. Considering our average high is 89-90, this summer has been mild. Even when we're in the low 90s, that's only a few degrees higher than normal. Our summers have been way more tame here lately. They seemed hotter back in the 2010s.
  4. Nice breeze and humidity has gone down. Turning into a nice evening to enjoy cocktails in the backyard and deal with my Sunday scaries.
  5. It’s been a mild (relatively) summer. Even this week where it’s felt hot, we’re not talking triple digit. It seems summers here the last few years have been way better than even 5-7 years ago.
  6. Best storm of the summer here. Lots of T&L. Just over 0.9”.
  7. Outflow just pushed through here. Storms firing on the southern part of the blob that look to get here.
  8. Let’s just get rid of all social media.
  9. I 100% feel like I'm on vacation whenever we're out at our place in Deep Creek. Such a pretty area and a nice break from the craziness that is 'city' life.
  10. ^^ Thankful that didn’t hit our area.
  11. Storms pushing through here (Deep Creek) now. Got some T&L.
  12. Over 1” here so far. Way more than forecast.
  13. It’s an absolute deluge at the lake right now.
  14. A bit over an 1” here.
  15. Storms starting to fire up along 95 from NVA up through NMD with a Flood Watch for DC/Baltimore metro areas.
  16. That cell is slowly getting closer to me. Let’s do this!
  17. Happy 4th of July and happy birthday America!
  18. All the local weather stations in my neighborhood are showing 90-94 temps and 69-72 DPs.
  19. OMG, yes! Nostalgic growing up.
  20. Feels like a steam shower out there even with the clouds rolled in. One thing I knew was certain - this thread would be full of complaints before the line of storms even formed.
