Go figure, right? It’s 23 and snowing there now, ha. With your luck, please avoid the week between Christmas and New Years - I want cold and snow. We went to Dutch’s last Friday for my partner’s birthday - I really enjoy that place especially in the winter with the fire places going. Next time, I recommend Fire Water, which is owned by the same woman (Brenda) who owns Ace’s Run, Brenda’s Pizza, and the Trader coffee shop under Brenda’s Pizza. It’s right down the hill from Ace’s - they’ve got great cocktails, location right on the lake (with a heated patio/fire feature in the winter), and some good food options on the menu.

This pattern has been a boon for the mountains to lay down a solid layer from snowmaking (with some natural snow thrown in). Happy to see it for Snowshoe north up through Canaan and Wisp. Eyes soon turn to the potential after Thanksgiving.
