72/62 under sunny skies at Deep Creek. Beautiful day to be on the lake!

Well over half the trees at Deep Creek State Park have lost their foliage, apparently from the gypsy moth. I’ve never heard of that invasive species until a bartender at a local place yesterday was telling me what happened.

This weekend is looking pretty unsettled so far. Not a cloudy washout but chances of showers and storms.

Just as we’re going into the summer heat too. I’m worried this is the trend now and we’ll be crispy and lakes will be bone dry by July.

April 8th Eclipse- Last Easy One To See In My Lifetime

I’ve always wanted to visit AUS/NZ so we circled July 2028 as the trip to go there and see the eclipse. Going to stop in LA first to see a few Olympic events.
