‘Enhanced’ threat for Deep Creek from the upslope:

I got 11” here in Alexandria. Rates were hot and heavy as the sun rose - no blizzard conditions but best rates here since Jan 2016. It was a heavy, wet snow - lost half a tree on the side of the house.

In the 6+ years we’ve had our house out there, I find the upslope always lingers longer than forecast, even if it’s barely/not accumulating. It’ll just snow lightly for hours and hours and adds a really nice winter scene. You picked a good weekend to visit!
