    It’s been shitty relatively speaking, no other way to describe it. We haven’t even hit 30” when the annual is 110”. Lake has yet to actually freeze...it came close this week though. However, I’m at less than 1” back at home so coming out here and getting 1-3” feels like a blizzard. I’ll come back here next weekend if the 18z GFS plays out that way.

    I had a few good bursts of snow showers here this afternoon...0.1” before it melted. It just started snowing again. NWS Pitt forecasting 1-2” for Canaan & Deep Creek...hopefully we boom so you’re able to get some good snows.

    Shift the low 50-75 miles east and it’d be a much better solution for the area. Verbatim its a west of 81 special. At least its something to track.

    500H is north through 84 on the 00z GFS. Would like to see that trending south vs the other way.

    While driving home from Deep Creek, we got stuck (of course) in traffic on the Beltway. It was 34 degrees but had to crack the windows in traffic since it felt warm with the sun. Sun angle panic should be picking up around here.

    Heh, yep keeping a close eye on things. But at least today was a 10/10 on a winter scale...temps in the teens with WC -5 and snow all day. Just what I needed considering the ‘disaster’ the whole area has had so far especially East of 95. highly recommend a chase next weekend whether it’s here or somewhere else close for those feeling snow starved.

    Spectacular winter day here. Been snowing since 8a...mostly light this morning but it’s been moderate to at times heavy this afternoon. 19 degrees and just got off the Mountain Coaster at Wisp after a few hours of skiing.

    Hammer dropped overnight. Was 40 when we went to bed and now down to 22. Currently light snow with a fresh coating.
