  1. Winds shifting from SW to W here. 52 degrees. Should start the steady decline once we go from the NW.
  2. I could go for a 8-12” WAA event where it’d be in the 20s region-wide with a slug of precip on radar heading this way. #greedy
  3. Thanks for the reminders...I’ll move my December LR post to banter.
  4. 60 in Deep Creek. Perfect day for a hike with the dogs.
  5. 1st WWA of the season for the mountains! 2-4” seems bullish by NWS Pitt...likely looking at 1-2” here tomorrow. 6. We both said the same thing about the lack of AC....we could not imagine being there (or living there) in the summer. Such a neat house though.
  7. Definitely recommend it! My favorite parts were the multiple terraces where you really felt ‘one with nature’ & the corner windows (forget what Wright called them)...but basically the windows on the corner of the house open out from the corner, with no corner edge - again, reinforcing how Wright wanted the Kaufmans to be out with nature.
  8. We went to Falling Water today (the Frank Lloyd Wright house)...its only a 50 minute drive from Deep Creek. Really interesting house (with uncomfortable furniture). The architecture was pretty amazing.
  9. Low of 17 this morning. 34/21 currently.
  10. If they’re staying until Tuesday, good chance for an inch or two Monday night/overnight.
  11. Hit flurries/light snow showers on 270 this morning heading to Deep Creek then a few other patches off/on along 70. It's been snowing on/off here in Deep Creek with about 0.5" on the ground (estimating). Got a fire going....24 degrees with light snow falling. Life is good.
  12. Cheers for another Caps win!
  13. 500” or bust! What an area.
  14. I have to go to Albany for work for a few days next week...shitty city and it’ll be cold AF.
  15. Snowing on the traffic cameras in Garrett County. Weather station at the house showing 30.
  16. Temp dropping now at Deep Creek and gusty winds out of the NW. #itscoming
  17. 3k NAM has wind chills tomorrow morning in the single digits in the mountains and mid/upper 20s for most of the region. Super "impressive" (I guess) for early November.
  18. Wow, what a beautiful sky this morning.
  19. I’ll take the under of Raleigh getting 5-7” in mid November.
  20. @WxUSAF just called for a historic snow in the next 7-10 days in the LR thread. Boom!
  21. Caps win again — on the night where they honored the Nats too. The photo of both teams on the ice together was awesome — and I’ll say f you Snyder and the Redskins.
  22. I’m not really a football fan but wow at the Ravens pummeling of the Patriots so far.
