Agreed....for the close in DC metro, this is pretty typical of average summer weather. Heatwave should be 95+ consecutive days here.

WTF is it with people driving even crazier than normal lately? We were driving back from Nantucket on Saturday - the BW Parkway was literally a shtshow....about 5 different groups of cars weaving in/out of traffic going at least 100 mph - caused multiple cars to have to veer off into the shoulder to avoid accidents. And the same can be send for any interstate around here lately. Also, I’m astounded by how many people don’t use blinkers...no offense to the MD posters here but I find its usually MD drivers.

90-92 in the Mid Atlantic shouldn’t be considered a heat wave. I think the average high in DC is 89 during the height of summer. I am so not ready for fall...we’re like 2.5 weeks into ‘real’ summer lol

I installed two of those Ring spotlight security cameras yesterday. Night 1 proved eventful. I woke up this morning and had a motion detection notification from about 1:30a in the front of the house. Huge black bear walking in the driveway and sniffing the car overnight - yikes!

Been stuck in the 60s all day under clouds and occasional rain. Just had a thunderstorm roll through and another on its heels. 0.3” on the day.

Yep, its rare we have the AC on here unless its super humid/upper 60s at night. A million stars out tonight too which is cool. I think I see 5 on a clear night in Arlington heh.

MASN/Os suck. The fact they still block streaming is insane in today’s tech world. I have YouTube TV and I can’t watch the Nats...I wish the Nats would move to NBC Sports Washington.

The line broke apart earlier this evening as it crossed into Garrett County from WV (which was fine by me since I had just started the grill). Wound up with 0.01” today. Currently 58 after a high of 75.

I’ll try complaining when the Euro shows 40s and rain in January. Maybe it’ll move towards a 20s and snow idea

Picked up a quick 0.2" here in 20 minutes and temp dropped from 76 to 68. Rain picking up again.

Looks like storms are starting to fire. Two storms just popped to my east in eastern Garrett County - I can hear the distant rumbles of thunder. Partly sunny and 75/69 here.

The summer without summer seems to be shaping up. I know I'm in the minority here, but I like sustained heat in the summer (90s).

Thankfully I’m in Arlington enjoying this spectacular weather. You would have heard me btch more if I was there and it was in the 40s in June.
